American Ultra Jazzmaster

The American Ultra series has been designed by Fender to encompass the most advanced guitars and basses the company has ever produced.

With this American Ultra Jazzmaster you get an ergonomically curved body, originally designed to appeal to guitarists who prefer to sit when playing, now refined to be more comfortable than ever.

Attached to the body is a Maple neck, carved with a comfortable Modern “D” profile, and featuring a tapered neck heel to grant easy access to the upper frets.

Sitting atop the neck is a compound radius (10″-14″) Maple fingerboard with rolled fret edges, allowing you to play effortlessly at any speed.

Ultra Noiseless Pickups

For the pickups, Fender have designed these all-new Ultra Noiseless Jazzmaster single coils.

These pickups offer a hum-free playing experience, with a vintage-style voice, and a modern take on the traditional Jazzmaster control system.

In addition to the two Volume pots, Master tone pot, and 3-way pickup selector, this system also offers the traditional Rhythm/Lead slide and corresponding volume wheels.

As a finishing touch, there’s also an S-1 switch situated in the Neck Volume pot, which changes the circuitry into Series mode, giving you a thick, Humbucker-like voice to play with.

Tying the whole package together you’ll find a host of top-notch Nickel/Chrome hardware, helping to deliver a rock-solid playing experience.

In addition to the American Professional Jazzmaster bridge and traditional Jazzmaster Tremolo tailpiece, this American Ultra guitar comes equipped with a set of sealed locking tuners.
