Streamlined Design

While the signature Fender Telecaster style is present, it’s been improved with new body contours.

You still have the single cutaway giving you that distinctive Fender Tele style while granting grea access to the upper frets for easy soloing.

However, the body now has smoother edges and a new belly and back cut that have all been hand sculpted. As a result, you get a more comfortable playing experience with the Fender American Ultra Telecaster.

Accentuating this sleek new style is sporty single-ply binding around the top of the guitar.

Attached to the body is a maple neck featuring Fender’s new “Modern D” shape for even more comfortable chording and easy soloing to give you Fender’s fastest-playing neck.

Atop the neck is a 10″ = 14″ compound radius maple fretboard. Rounder at the nut and flattening out at the upper frets, wherever you are on the neck you get the optimum playing platform.

Ultra Rolled fingerboard edges along with an Ultra Satin finish on the back of the neck enhance that smooth and comfortable playing feel.

American Ultra Noiseless Pickups

Providing the Fender American Ultra Telecaster its fantastic voicing is a set of new Ultra Noiseless Vintage pickups.

These single-coil pickups give you authentic, vintage Fender Telecaster tone but without any unwanted hum so you get pure, pristine tone.

Using the 3-position blade, you can choose between using either pickup individually or both at once.

Advanced Electronics

As you would expect on a Fender Telecaster, you have the usual Master Volume and Master Tone knobs for direct shaping of your sound.

However, there’s more going on beneath the surface.

A treble bleed circuit is in place so you can keep all the high end clarity of your tone even at lower volumes.

Furthermore, concealed in the Master Volume is a button to activate the S-1 switch.

Once the S-1 switch is engaged, the Ultra Noiseless pickups will act in series. As a result, you giet higher output and full, fat tone.
