This excellent guitar represents the drive and determination of the expert team over at Gibson’s Custom Shop, and brings to life an accurate depiction of the company’s first foray into square-shouldered dreadnought production.

Featuring a back and sides crafted from Solid Mahogany, with a thermally-aged Sitka Spruce top, this 1960 Hummingbird reissue delivers a vintage-sounding, rootsy voice that is perfect for folk music and acoustic blues.

The neck has been carved with an authentic rounded profile, and is topped with a bound Rosewood fingerboard, with Mother of Pearl Parallelogram fret markers, reflecting the appearance and performance of those early 1960s ‘Birds.
