Crafting the Les Paul Tribute

For the body of the Les Paul Tribute, Gibson have gone with the tried and true traditional tone wood combination of a Mahogany body and Maple top.

Ultra-Modern weight relief ensures a more comfortable playing experience so you can play better for longer, with less fatigue.

Attached to the body is a slim taper neck providing great playability while its satin finish gives it a really fast playing feel.

The traditional Rosewood fretboard features 22 frets that have been cryogenically treated so they are more durable and stronger, with much more resistance to wear.

Great Electronics

Giving the Les Paul Tribute its awesome voice is a set of humbuckers in the form 490R and 490T pickups.

These aggressive humbucking pickups use Alnico II magnets and shares characteristics with the original PAF pickups.

The result is a set of warm sounding pickups with hot output and the edge you need for some great growling tones.

A toggle switch allows you to choose how you’d like to use the pickups while the standard 2 volume, 2 tone control setup allows for further tonal shaping.

High Quality Hardware

On the body of the Gibson Les Paul Tribute, you’ll find an aluminium Nashville Tune-O-Matic bridge providing great results with awesome sustain.

A self-lubricating Tektoid nut is installed at the top of the neck, providing further enhanced sustain and a nice brightness to your tone.

Up on the headstock, a set of Vintage Deluxe tuning machines with keystone buttons allow you to precisely tune your strings.
