Ibanez AVD9CE-NT Artwood Vintage Dreadnought, Natural Key Features
- Classic Guitar Design – Dreadnought-style acoustic guitars are arguably the most popular acoustic shapes of the past century. This particular body shape results in a rich overall tone, with incredible low-end and crisp high frequencies, resulting in a versatile guitar voice that’s suited to a wide range of playing styles and genres.
- Thermo-Aged Tonewoods – The tonewoods on this guitar have undergone a baking process to dry them out, resulting in the kind of tonal properties normally found on true vintage models. In this case there’s the combination of Solid Sitka Spruce for the top, with Mahogany for the back and sides, giving you a combination of great tonal depth and increased upper mid-range clarity.
- Superb Playability – Attached to the above-mentioned tonewoods is a solid Mahogany neck, which offers a substantial yet comfortable playing feel. This neck is adorned with an Ovangkol fingerboard, which offers a smooth feel for your fretting hand, making chording and more intricate playing as comfortable as can be.
- High Quality Electronics – Complimenting the guitar’s excellent tonewood combination is an Ibanez-designed AEQ-SP2 preamp, allowing you to access plenty of power when plugged into a front of house system or amplifier. The built-in 2-band EQ allows you to tame or boost the upper and lower frequencies, whilst the ergonomic built-in tuner allows you to sound at your very best with each performance.
