Okoume Tonewood Body

The All Okoume tonewood body delivers a mellow crisp sound that works for lots of music styles and genres. Less bright than Spruce it offers a darker tone, favoured by blues and folk players.

The dreadnought body is bold and thanks to the cutaway, upper fret access is fantastic.

What’s more, the open pore finish on the Ibanez AW54CE allows the wood to breathe even more.

Matched with a Nyatoh neck and Ovangkol fingerboard, you’ll be navigating the neck with ease and grace.

An Ibanez T-bar Undersaddle pickup paired with the Ibanez AEQ-TP2 preamp allows you to project the acoustics natural sound without losing any of the character of the guitar.
