Included as standard on all three and four-string variations, the Matchbook pickup is the first patented pickup specifically designed for Cigar Box Guitars. Resembling an actual matchbook with a magnet as the “striker,” this innovative pickup operates with zero noise floor, combining double coil power and single coil clarity through a push-pull volume pot, offering a mean or clean tone.

Constructed with durable pressboard and mahogany veneer, these lightweight and portable instruments are built to withstand the test of time. A one-piece hard rock maple neck, double adjustable truss rod, and 20-fret maple fingerboard ensure exceptional playability.

The steel plate bridge, offering 20mm of adjustability, guarantees perfect intonation for each string. The open-gear machine heads with a 14:1 gear ratio, reminiscent of classic vintage instruments, along with a precision-cut bone nut, ensure tuning stability, accurate intonation, and exceptional sustain and harmonics.

To complete the package, an optional handcrafted Lace Guitar Box Guitar Case (model CBC34) is available, featuring a tweed covering with white piping accents, stitching, an antique brass locking latch, and a soft handle. Inside, the case boasts a rich red velvet lining, along with neck and body supports, offering supreme protection for your instrument.
