It’s great to see Schecter offer high performance metal/rock guitars in such refined finishes. The Swamp Ash on the new 2016 Banshees is a real beauty to behold, contrasted nicely by an Ebony fretboard and Black Chrome hardware. The side dot markers are glow in the dark for practicality and that little guitar geek flourish you expect from high end shred machines.

When it comes to the electronics and hardware the Banshee range have got all the fiendish devices you would expect, including 6,7 & 8 string versions. Floyd Rose/Sustainiac setups are available on the 6/7 stringers, for endless sustain and divebomb action. Plus Grover tuners, Schecter’s own USA SuperCharger pickups and a neck so gloriously fast it defies at least 3 fundamental laws of physics.
