Quality Schecter Craftsmanship

The Orleans Studio is an electro-acoustic 12 string guitar that has been crafted from quality woods with utmost care, receiving a high spec hand setup before leaving the factory.

Crafted from Mahogany for the back and sides, the body of the Orleans Studio Acoustic features a Solid Cedar top; known for its fantastic qualities as a tone wood demonstrating great resonance.

Set-neck construction sees the joining of a Mahogany neck with a thin ‘C’ shape so it is nice and comfortable to hold and play.

The fretboard is made from Rosewood, has 20 medium sized frets and features mother of pearl dot inlays. The scale length is 25.5” and the guitar features Rosewood multi-ply binding.

Great Quality Hardware

The nut of the Schecter Orleans Studio is a traditional bone nut offering great sustain while the bridge is Roswewood with a bone saddle and Graph Tech TUSQ Pins.

TUSQ bridge pins are precision engineered under high pressure and heat specifically so that they deliver the maximum amount of vibration from your strings directly into the top of the guitar.

Consistent from piece to piece, TUSQ bridge pins offer rich tonal characters of the finest genuine bone or ivory but without issues that can be caused by variations found in the natural grains of these materials.

The headstock holds Grover Rotomatic 18:1 tuners. These rock solid machineheads are an upgraded version of the original Rotomatic tuners with improved, higher ratio gearing.

The new 18:1 ratio provides you with extremely fine tuning with greater stability. The finer gears used provide a much smoother tuning action a higher degree of backlash elimination. This new version of the Grover Rotomatic tuners uses the exact same housing as the original model but with all the modern, upgraded gearing inside.

High End Electronics

To ensure high quality amplification to match the great tone of the Orleans Studio, Schecter have selected Fishman electronics.

Fitted under the saddle is Fishman Sonicore Piezo pickup which takes the signal and feeds it back through a Fishman Isys+ EQ system.

Using the Fishman Isys+ EQ you can adjust your sound with a Volume control and separate Treble and Bass controls. A Phase switch allows you to eliminate feedback which is a common issue when amplifying an acoustic guitar.

Lastly, the Fishman Isys+ also has an on-board tuner so you can tune your guitar quickly and easily without having to carry around an external tuner; perfect when you’re performing on stage.
