Solid Mahogany has been used for the back and sides, adding warmth to your tone and strengthening the midrange frequencies. In addition to this, the African Mahogany neck features a semi gloss finish for easy playability with vintage looks and holds an Ebony fretboard with a smooth and incredibly durable playing surface.
• Acoustic Resonance Enhancement – Acoustic Resonance Enhancement is a wood treatment method that is exclusive to Yamaha. Using a combination of heat, humidity and atmospheric pressure, A.R.E. treatment dramatically speeds up the aging process of the guitar’s wood.
