Creating The TRB1006J

Crafted from a solid slab of alder, the laminate body features animmaculately crafted quilted-maple top with an eye-catching Black finish.

Combined with the gleaming, solid brass bridge, the string vibrations are efficiently transmitted and distributed throughout the body for a warm and resonant tone.

The 5-piece maple neck, with double truss rods and 35″ super-long scale, is securely bolted on the body to ensure a strong bond between the two, producing a clear and powerful sound.

Versatile Electronics

Kitted out with a pair of Alnico V Hum-Cancelling Pickups, the already clear tone is personified by the silky smooth electronics.

With a wide tonal range and a heavy bass presence, you’ll cut through the mix whether on the stage or in the studio.

The Yamaha Active 5-Control Circuit provides easy access to 5 knobs, each expanding the tonal possibilities of the TRB-1006J.

Combined with an active 3-band EQ, you have a pickup balancer and a master volume – everything you need to subtly change your sound or completely alter its dynamics at the flick of a switch.
